Parking and car hire

Jersey Airport (JER) has two main car parks for visitors. Both are close to the terminal and offer comparable rates. The long-stay rate is more competitive, but it is billed by the hour and does not recognise shorter increments. There are no special day-rates for long-term parking.

Short-term parking:

short-term parking at Jersey Airport is offered across from the Arrivals hall and is especially well-suited for drivers who are picking up an incoming passenger. The rate is higher for the first half hour and then reduces slightly thereafter.

Long-term parking:

officially the long-term car park is across from the Departures hall. The long-term rate a flat one for any part of an hour. This uncovered lot also has free facilities for motorcycles and bicycles. Security is tight and this lot is under constant surveillance.

Drop off and valet parking:

there is a drop-off zone directly in front of the Departures hall. Vehicles may not park here, but they can pull up long enough to let off passengers and unload luggage.

Parking for special needs:

dedicated parking spaces for disabled people are available in both of the major car parks. Cars must display a disabled badge on the windscreen. Access to the airport is wheelchair-friendly, and airport staff can supply a wheelchair when necessary.

Car rental:

visiting Jersey Island is especially rewarding if you have your own car, and Jersey Airport is serviced by three major car hire firms. Avis, Europcar and Hertz all have desks in the Arrivals hall. Booking your car early increases your chances of getting your preferred vehicle type.
